Casting reel line yardage question
I just got my first casting rod/reel. I put 14# braid on it, but all of the braid on the shelf was 125 yards and this reel will take much, much more than that. I'm thinking of pulling the braid back off and backing it some with mono to get the braid further out on the reel.
Anybody do this or should I just leave it alone with just the 125y on the reel?
