Zook,

Are you aware of a post that already exists over there or are you suggesting that's the place to ask questions. I've been on that site a couple of times and couldn't find information on replacing floors that already exists. I didn't want to ask a question if there was already information already posted over there.

Well my friend welcome to the world of the boat builder. LOTS AND LOTS and did I mention LOTS of scratching and grinding.Frist off need to know what boat so I can be more specific. Also need to check out the stringers (as you stated the bow to stern ones). You may be putting good wood in over a boat that has water logged stringers, not a real good idea because the stringers are the integrity odf the boat especially if this boat is capable of any speed.
