Default Which motor

Thinking about buying a new Basstracker v 18 tourament series.I Need your opinions on wich motor to get,the 115 fourstroke or the 115 optimax.All & any opnions welcome.Thanks for any info.

optimax!!! stay away from the four stroke. when you figure in the extra weight of the four stroke it's basically like adding another guy in the boat, which will hurt your performance. plus they claim they save you on gas, however it's the exact oppisite unless you are making very long runs. i have a 200 optimax and it's quiet enough and doesn't smoke at all. so i really don't see the benefit of a four stroke for the way the average guy fishes.

There are pro's and con's for each motor. Only you can decide which would be a better fit. I would go with the Optimax personally.
