I had a buddy who went to school for autobody help me paint our trailer with automoive paint and a paint gun. I choose a charcole grey for the trailer, and used just plain old satin black for the fenders and some of the trailer add ons like roller guides and wench bracket. It looked great when I was done, but of course I still have to touch up the paint a few times a year.

you can get alot of different colors in rustoliem paint. go to home depot or lowes, they have them in different colors. and if you have a sprayer, use it. it will go on better without runs and drips.

I painted mine with Rustoleum and a spray gun, all silver.
Then I repainted it silver with Rustoleum again -- BY HAND! What a chore it was, holdin' up like a charm though. Powdercoat would be the best though. -Buzz |

great!!! that gun will do it pal. just remember to wash the heck outa it when you're done. if you don't it'll ruin the gun. may need more than 1 coat too. go light on the first one, then another. heck.. you know that already don't you? sorry, hahaha. get to it man. i want to see pics after you get it done!!!

After using a gravity fed gun to paint our Camaro, I think my dad likes them better than that kind. Most people can't believe we painted the car, and some people offered to pay us to paint theirs. My dad stains doors for a living though, so he should be good at it. And like bama said, don't forget the picks.

Nice. I love taking pictures too. I'd eventually like to get me a good digital camera, but that's way off in the future. I do like using our old Canon AE-1 program. Those old manual camera's sure are fun.

Rustoleum is pretty good stuff. There are thousands out there who have painted the cars and trucks with it, diluted with mineral spirits. The results they have been getting are excellent. Google rustoleum 50 dollar paint job and you will find all the info you need. Its not as good as a professional job, but its a 20th the price so who cares unless we are talking a new car or a classic.
This chargerr was painted with rustoleum and a roller per the internet, so it must be so.

Bama, I know you regret ever letting that thing go, however it happened. If I ever got my hands on one, they'd have to shoot me to get it away from me.

wtl, the show was one of the reasons i got rid of the car. hahaha, got teesed alot cause of the shows car. it is a 69, mine was a 70. difference is the front grill. but i had a 56 ford truck, the 70 charger, and a 68 vette at the time. still would've rather had kept the charger. i sold the vette and bought a 72 vette. long story, will tell you more next weekend if you want to know. i was a stupid kid then. long story made short, lmao.
