I love to read articles, but I learn best visually. I will be forever grateful to the person who showed my these picts and to the person who created these picts and wish to credit them, whomever they are.

Here is a pitch cast:

You might wish to note in the image, the angler is holding the lure/bait at waist level and the rod is pointing down. I have found these two observations to be key in making better and more efficient pitches.

Thanks to Zooker, I would reccomend KVD's Pitchin to Heavy hitters DVD, available at BPS, made all the difference in the world to me.
