Surf Fishing
Im going to Gulf shores this July. Anyone have any ideas about surf fishing? I usually get a steel leader and some powerpro. I use squid to catch blues, then use them as cut bait. any other ideas? And yes, I realize this is a bass site. Dont duke yourself.

Blues I catch with spoons, flukes, swimbaits and etc.
When they are blitzing a shoe would work.

I was there last July, and the fishing was sorta alright. I caught some whiting, and my uncle used them as cut bait for shark. Make a trip to some of the creeks, bring a cast net, and float mullet for trout reds, and whatever else wants them.
