What I think is funny is how for 2 months every time Obama spoke he downgraded the economy, and about a week ago him, Geithner and Bernake all of a sudden changed their tune 180 and now Bernake says we could be out of the recession in 09.

Thing is, even if we are out of the recession soon (doubtful), we have acquired so much debt recently that another sharper one is just around the corner that is a direct result of the efforts to get out of this one. We keep digging ourselves deeper.

I'm so burned up after reading that AIG execs got what 165 MILLION? in bonus'.People we NEED to do something.Obviously the gov't is unwilling to help the little guy.I think it's time we seriously start doing something about this...But what,they have all us middle class spending all our energy trying to keep our heads above water that most people don't have time to dedicate to the cause.And if they keep making it tougher for us to carry on,then they'll have to take care of us.Which in turn will cause the masses to accept socialism.Then what?

Careful bassintom, a guy in my hometown recently made a comment during a conversation in a local store about the current economy and America in general. He said something to the affect of "somebody needs to do something about that s.o.b." (meaning Obama). Next thing he knows, he's sitting handcuffed in the Monticello jail for terroristic threatening!! Some bleeding heart, tree hugging, hippy type fag overheard and thought they should do their patriotic duty and turn him in!!
