Default The election

THIS WILL CURDLE YOUR BLOOD & BREAK YOUR HEART

Interesting Statistics

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law,

St. Paul, Minnesota, points out facts of 2008 Presidential election:

Number of States won by:

Democrats: 19
Republicans: 29< /FONT>

Square miles of land won by:

Democrats: 580,000
Republicans: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by:

Democrats: 127 million
Republicans: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Democrats: 13.2
Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds:
"In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won by Republicans
was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in
government-owned tenements and living off various forms of

government welfare.

Professor Olson believes the United States is now somewhere
between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's
definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's
population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal
invaders called illegal's and they vote, then we can say goodbye to

the USA in fewer than five years

Pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake,
knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

DUI - MAINE STYLE

(Only a person in Maine could think of this)

From a county where drunk driving is considered a sport, comes this true story .

Recently a routine police patrol parked outside a bar in Farmington , Maine . After last call, the officer noticed a man leaving the bar so apparently intoxicated that he could barely walk.

The man stumbled around the parking lot for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing. After what seemed an eternity in which he tried his keys on five different vehicles, the man managed to find his car and fall into it.

He sat there for a few minutes as a number of other patrons left the bar and drove off.

Finally he started the car, switched the wipers on and off--they worked fine; dry summer night--, flicked the blinkers on and off a couple of times, honked the horn and then switched on the lights.

He moved the vehicle forward a few inches, reversed a little and then remained still for a few more minutes as some more of the other patrons' vehicles left.

At last, when he was the only car left in the parking lot, he pulled out and drove slowly down the road.

The police officer, having waited patie ntly all this time, now started up his patrol car, put on the flashing lights, promptly; pulled the man over and administered a breathalyzer test.

To his amazement, the breathalyzer indicated no evidence that the man had consumed any alcohol at all!

Dumbfounded, the officer said, I'll have to ask you to accompany me to the police station. This breathalyzer equipment must be broken!

'I doubt it,' said the truly proud Redneck. 'Tonight I'm the designated decoy.'

Catching Wild Pigs

A chemistry professor in a large college had some exchange
students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Professor
noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back, and
stretching as if his back hurt.
The professor asked the young man what was the matter.

The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while
fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist government. In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked, 'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?'

The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch
line.

The young man said this was no joke. 'You catch wild pigs by
finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find
it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to
coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are
used to coming.

When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn
again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and
start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the
fence up with a gate in The last side. The pigs, who are used to the free
corn, start to come through the gate to eat, you slam the gate on them and
catch the whole herd.

Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what
he sees happening to America .

The government keeps pushing us toward socialism and keeps
spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental
income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy
subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc.. While
continually lose our freedoms -- just a little at a time.

One should always remember: There is no such thing as a
free lunch! Also, a politician will never provide a service for you cheaper
than you can do it yourself.

Also, if you see that all of this wonderful government 'help' is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America , you might want to send this on to your friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life then you will probably delete this email, but God help you when the gate slams shut!

Keep your eyes on the newly elected politicians who are
about to slam the gate on America.

"A government big enough to give you everything you
want, is big enough to take away everything you have"

Thomas Jefferson

"The problem with Socialism is that eventually you run
out of other people's money."
Mrs. Margaret Thatcher
