Default Saltwater Bay FIshing

What kind of lures, and where should I be fishing? If it makes any difference im going to be fishing in the bay right outside of clear lake, Tx.

I like my saltwater lures big, flashy, and noisey!

first i want to say welcome...second,i know diddly about salt water and third,this is a bass fishing forum so i'll bet you will get more tail feathers ruffled than answers.

Live bait works best, but if ur fish'n lures, listen to rob. Throw it anywhere anything looks different (Nervous water, shallower than normal bottom, deeper than normal bottom, structure etc.)

keep in mind, most of the baitfish in the ocean are flashy and tend to stay in schools, therefore keep your shiney baits heavy for long casts and moving fasts so they don't get a good look, only a good taste of your bait.
