Right now in Indiana there is a nusence season for goose right now and you can take up to five a day, but the normal rules still apply. From the picture it appears that there was a lone goose on the lake and you went home, got your gun and went back and shot it. I dont see any camo so im sure there was no calling in or any decoys. Hope you had your stamp and your lic.

Too close too shoot. A suburban duck or goose can be quite humanely put out with a lasso. If you aren't in a cowboyin' mood, throw a cast net net on 'em and cut their throats quick. If all else fails, hit 'em with a stick.

I have gone to throw a rock at one, and a guy in a house called the cops, then came and told me that he did so. Man was I gone!!!
I actually dont believe he called the cops, because they never came, as I watched from my house. |
