Default Gravity sinkers

Has anyone used these weights yet ? I bought a couple of packs to try, since there is a lead ban law in effect for NY State. They are heavy for their size, but they may have problems bringing them through weeds, the ends are flat on them. P N J

It was based on studies showing ingesting lead sinkers was killing loons. Many say the study was flawed; perhaps it was, but lead in the environment can't be good.

The ban is on the SALE of 1/2 oz. lead sinkers or smaller, but it is legal to use lead sinkers as of now.
