Default Spring Lizards

While looking at the Yum soft plastic baits, I came across the Yum F2 Salleemander. 15+ years ago (maybe 20+) I remember reading about throwing lizards in the spring. They were the hot "spring lure" sorta like lipless crankbait seem to currently be the hot spring lure.

So I went out and bought a bunch of lizards but never had any success with them, but that was a long time ago and I didn't have much luck back then with a lot of lures that now I wouldn't be without.

Maybe it's time to give a lizard a try again?
