you could start in the morning with top waters , t-rig a worm and work it through the weeds . when the sun comes out i like to throw a single willow spinner bait and keep it right above the weeds . good luck man and welcome to the forums

Chatterbaits and topwater are killer pond baits.
Welcome aboard as well! |

I just found the Bassstopper worms. My brother in law used one in a strip pit recently and did pretty good with a red shad color. Back east we used these pre rigged worms a lot very similar to the Bassstoppers called Kelly's. If you google Kelly Worm you will be directed to a website. Real similar to K&E Bassstoppers but they have a really nice anice scent. We did well with them this spring and my brother in law swears by them. I however am starting to swear by a wacky rigged Senko. I found some crazy yellow Senkos at Dicks in the clearance bin for 2.00. I wacky rigged a couple in some ponds where they have sunfish and have been nailing bass ever since. I really think they look like a sunfish and most of the small ponds and strip pits we fish in have no shad or other prey.
