According to various government websites, the U.S. had approximately 50 million doses of "Swine Flu" vaccine. So 1 person in 6 can get it, and we'll still be okay.

Keep in mind that the good ol' everyday influenza virus kills around 35,000 Americans every year, but people don't go around wearing masks because of it. We're all gonna be just fine...the Chicken Littles just need to stop watching so much cable news.

There is a much better chance that you will die of cancer or in a car accident than swine flu. Every single day of your life you run a 1/100,000 or probably much less chance of dying, which is still far greater than the chance swine flu kills you.

The management at my work passed out a letter to everybody explaining what swine flu is, symptoms, etc. Right after we got that, they put a small bottle of hand sanitizer at everybody's desk, workstation, and toolbox. Seems just a little over the top to me...

I for one am prepared to listen to our Vice President, don't fly, ride a train or a bus!!

I am going to go buy a boat...They didn't say boats were unsafe!!

And don't eat green eggs and Ham for goodness sake!

It is amazing how they scare the heck out of people, like many here have said, it is isolated and 36,000 people die of the regular flu strains in America every year.

Natures' way of weeding out the weak...hacking up some blood here have to run........

we got our first confirmed case up here a couple days ago , they shut a school down for a day which just seems silly , I mean If it has a 2 ta 5 day period before you show symptoms what is closing a school for 24 hours gonna do
