Default Stop N Go

i've been reading all the jazz on the stop and go.. and i cant find out how to do it..

haha.

is it just a reel and let it fall.. then reel and let it fall?

if this is catching big bass.. i want one

ummm yeah usually with a spinnerbait .... but just reel and "kill it" .... letting it fall ... it imitates a dying baitfish.... they are looking for that because sometimes around this part of the year the cold will kill some baitfish

i cast it out give it a quick snap to get it going then pull to the side from 6 to 9 then as you reel in your slack the bait falls. watch your line and then repete if you feel the bait is to low try lifting your rod up instead of to the side. just don't get caught with your rod straight up in the air.

try giving the rod twitches back and forth during your retrieve as well anything to make the bait swim nice and erratic .

thanks guys.. i'll try these in the morning.. with it being cold today and rained for two days i think they'll be on a feeding frenzy

It all depends on what presentation you're working. Stop and go, pop and go, tick the weeds, stop then pop. The one thing you really don't want to do with most lures is just reel in at a constant speed, in a straight line.
