I'm back
Hi Guys. I've been AWOL for a couple of months now due to some happy times (wedding) and some not so happy time. Family sickness and legal issues with custody for a grandchild. Hopefully the worst is behind us and hubby and I can get in some quality fishing time. Seems I have missed some interesting discussions and serious spamming. Looking forward to catching up on all I have missed.

Thanks Waterboy. It is nice to be back to something resembling normalcy. Well, as normal as a crazy person can be!!

Good to have you back!
Married to a fisherman who is married to a fishing gal....searching for normalcy.....something just doesn't seem to fit. I can't quite put my finger on it but something just isn't fitting????? Was the Honeymoon on the water?

Welcome back to the fold Bassin' Gal. Your right about quite a lot going on in here the past couple months, lol. But we're all still here. So was it you who got married or one of your children?

Good. I'm glad. I feared you might have read some of our ugly non-fishing related talk in July and August and decided to leave. Remind us what part of the country you're fishing. I forgot.

No new hubby for me! I'm gonna keep the one I have had for 28+ years. I am way too old to try to break in a new one. We had a son that got married in July and it was way out of town. Had to go for all of the festivities. The next week the drama started with the custody situation with a grandson. That mess won't be settled until November. Praying for a discerning judge who can see through the lies and deceipt going on. But enough of that.
We are in south central Kentucky. About 100 miles east of Barkley and Kentucky lakes. Sure do wish we were closer! Originally from the glorious state of AL. Wish we were closer to Guntersville but maybe that will come along one of these days too. We are hoping to get in some fishing on Saturday and Monday but it looks like the remnants of Isaac may have other ideas. If we make it, I will try to give a report that I hope will be wonderful. If not, I'll just lie and say it was. |
