Optimax or 4 stroke?
I need advice guys. I'm looking to buy a new Stratos 186XT in the spring. It's rated for a max of 115 hp and my local dealer will put whatever brand name I want on it, so I was looking at a Merc. But, like the title says, Optimax or 4 stroke? What's the pros and cons of each? I don't know much about either design, so let's just assume I'm dumb as a post about boat motors here. Thanks!
