Default Texas Tackle Split Ring Pliers

I'm pretty particular about changing out hooks on crankbaits and I put oval split rings on the tie in point on all my hard baits. I hate tying to round split rings.

I've been using some BPS split ring pliers for the last few years, I finally bought a pair of Texas Tackle Pliers. These things make changing hooks so much easier. They are narrow enough to fit inside the split ring and the bottom jaw extends out further than the tooth. Those two things make these pliers really easy to use. I highly recommend these pliers to anyone that changes hooks on their hard baits.
