Default Fireworks and the 4th of July

Here in Pa most fireworks are illegal. My buddy at work went to Ohio to buy his yesterday. He watched another man from Pa. buy around $6,000 worth. It's hard to believe Pa. won't make them legal and get the tax revenue form the sales. Anyway have a safe and happy 4th.

Laws are pretty weird here, but as long as you're do doing stupid crap with em, the police won't bother you. Especially where we live; out from town on 5 acres.

Best freakin holiday ever by the way!

Everybody have a happy and safe 4th!

Quick question for y'all. Why do you celebrate the "4th"? Why not Independence Day?

Do y'all say Happy December 25th?

Happy October 31st?

Happy January 1st?

Just a thought and pet peeve of mine.

about half the towns in our state canceled their fireworks displays for the 4th due to budget problems . kinda sucks cause now their is no where close to us to take the kids to see them

Our laws don't allow them. In past years, it was a short trip to Mexico to get them, but with recent changes that is out of the question.
With as many wild fires as we have, I don't disagree with the laws. The cities will still do their displays over the ocean.

That's gotta be cool. Toledo does theirs on the Maumee River than runs through town. The suburb we live in (or just outside of) did theirs last night at one of the old quarries. we can see them from our house about 4 miles away.

But like I said before, everybody stay safe!

Ahh I remember sitting in the Owens Corning building and other hotel rooms watching those. One of the best fireworks shows I've ever seen. Only one that's better is the one I saw tonight at Disney.

And that's better LOL.

Now Macy's can be proud of the fireworks they sponsored - it was awesome.

The best I ever saw in person was at Disney world, July 4, 1976 (the Bicentennial Celebration)

We went up to a small local lake where the residents that live around it launched their own fireworks for about two hours . It was a constant bombardment from all sides . Def a great time and one of the most unforgettable times we have seen fireworks

This was many times better than their usual night show! They were mainly shooting from 4 places and then had another dozen on top of those for different parts of the show! And everything was perfectly timed. And the type of fireworks was even more spectacular. 4 phase charges and all sorts of neat shapes such as stars that were red, white, and blue.
