Default Skeeter trim gauge problems

Hi all,

Boat is a '98 Skeeter ZX202C, Yamaha Vmax 3.1L, 200hp.

Trim gauge is stuck full down, doesnt work.

PLEASE do NOT tell me its the actuating tab that is broke. It is not. I can flip the sender arm with my finger and nothing happens. I checked the ohms using the procedure called for online and in the Yamaha manual and the sender seemed a little out of range so I ordred a new one. I connected the new sender unit to the harness to test it and nothing!

I am testing with the master power and ignition switch on.

Have checked all the fuses in the fuse panel, nothing blown.

Does anyone know if there is an inline fuse for this gauge? How to test that the gauge itself is working. All other gauges, lights and equipment on the boat work great.

Anyone experience this problem?
