last year i was there while the first bassmaster elite tour was visiting. ish monroe won it, and other pros were saying it was the best lake the'd ever fished. i also ran into kevin vandam at walmart, and he said that that lake was great for fishing.

Fishing along banks, ledges, steep drop offs, around stick ups, not too much cover but enough..

KD, how many is "several". Can you be more specific? Are you talkin 50+, less than 50, a handful . . . .

I've been at amsted in the early spring and tore em up on soft jerkbaits. Fantastic lake. Not 100 but close to 50 a couple of days.

And all is right with the world. I have caught so many fish on that exact setup color and all, glad to see someone else catches on them too.
