Default Got my new baitcaster yesterday

I got a Rhino RBC300 reel with a Quantum Tournament grade rod, which is regularly 40 bucks, I got for 18bucks, it was mispriced. I also got some 15 lb test Big Game, a bag of Tikis, in Watermelon Red Flake, and some gammakatzu(sp?) finesse wide gap worm hooks for wacky riggin. They look like circle hooks. Anywhoo, I went fishing this morn for an hour or so down at the pond, caught 3, 2 on a Manns 1- and the 3rd was caught on a RAT-L-TRAP. This was my first Rat-L-Trap fish. He hit right off shore, and I saw him attack this bait. All fish were caught on my new rod also!!!!

Went to Bass Pro the other day and bought 17 bags of various worms and lizards and some Gammies and weights for 18 bucks. How are the rhinos compared to your other baitcaster and what was it?

It was awesome!!! I really want to catch on a Rat-L-Trap now. But i am happy that i caught one on the walk the dog lure.

Spandextros,
I was using a meium retreive, holding the rod tip high. When I hit grass, I would rip it then hesitate. Cast 5 time to the same place, this way the bass key in on that location. But, this guy hit it about a foot from shore, I watched him take it!!! It was amazing, Hope ya catch one with it next time!
