Croakers!! Good snook bait, there almost like a saltwater largemouth.

If you can catch a fish on a Beer bottle cap, or Homer Simpson topwater, why not with shaving cream?

I haven't fished for them for many years, just when I was a kid. They are a fun fish to catch, because they can grow really big. By the way, you're welcome in my boat anytime you want to come down south, since you're about to be iced in if you aren't already

Ok folks
used the shaving cream.
did not have a lot of time to fish lots of problems in scout camp
caught a couple of dinks on the top water lure I used as a test
covered the lure with the shaving cream and tossed it out. As I expected the cream came off and floated away. Left a slick near the lure.
Took some of the cream and threw it next to me in shallow water. bluegills came by looked at it, hit it and left.
Hooked two very small LB. Not sure if it was the action of the lure or the cream.
Set up a test rod.
7 foot med heavy
10 lb smoke gray yosouri line
number 1 hook
clear bubble bobber
small piece of red, later switched to white yarn
covered yarn with cream and tossed out
let sit, while fishing near by but not to close.
No Hookups at all
bobber did move but could not say for sure it was a fish doing the moving.
later added weight and removed bobber, no hook ups
total fishing time from Friday to Sunday was about 2 hours
Weather was clear and cold. Warming in the afternoon. Fished Sunday around 2 PM

May sound crazy but me and my dad never catch any fish until he pours a little miller lite in the water believe it or not. Its Miller Time!
