SWEET!!!!
yeah gotta love the big block air filter.it is killer looks like a sideways "six pack" nothing spells vintage muscle like a sweet set of crager rims...yeah they make flasher rims but the space age looks detract from the vintage muscle. zooker

both the guys that built it have been showing vintage cars and making them for about 30 years. They've both had chevelles in the past that they showed at car shows...
Who knows if anyone will pay 35 grand of it, they have 20 grand in it. |

Nice chevelle. I wouldn't mind getting me a project one and restoring it. All I've got right now is a '65 Mustang. That'll be sold after we're finished restoring it.
Anyways, great looking car. From the pics, it looks like they did a great job restoring it. BB

sportster for 2500..its been fun. |

All the time but that car at Barrett would bring less than it would have last year, plus it wasnt sold at BJ. Bj brings in the elite buyers and unlike ebay they can see, feel and touch the vehicles. Unless you are a millionare any or most of peoples disposible income is being sucked up by $2 more for gas, 30% higher grocery and other everyday living products prices at the store. Anything thats not needed for everyday life is a tough sell right now. Good for the buyers who may have squireled away some play money but bad for sellers who want to get atleast cost back out of a item.

i agree with zooker on the newer rims. i like the old stlye crager as well. as for a "six-pck"mr.photo....you can put one one any car motor. just takes a little time and a whole lot of money. but the originals did come on the mopars. had a '70 charger as a teenager, as well as a vette. and yes even an old ford truck, '56 model with a 312 v-8.

318 was in my charger. best motor (besides slant 6) for dependable, long lasting, and flat out durability mopar ever made. on a cold feb morn vette wouldn't crank. but ol charger would, whann, whann, whann.....wrooom!! sputter, sputter, hhhhhmmmmmmm. never failed me, even with 2 blown valve gaskets!! yes bb, wish i had the charger, and the 72 vette. the 68 vette was all modified and not in great originale shape, lots of flared out wheels, and the hood was cut to let the huge blower breathe, lol. 427 rat motor in the 68 (not original), 72 had everything original, 350 auto. i just couldn't stand the dang color....orange. bama fans hate orange, lmao. but if i was smarter back then and kept it, it would be worth as much as my house now, hahaha. heck, the charger body is worth about 10 grand now. young, dumb and you know the rest.

If only my dad kept some of his cars. he's has two corvettes and a camaro. The one vette, he used ot have he fixed it up for like 3 months when he was younger, and called his insurance man to see if he could take it for a drive real quick before they got all the papers done and such. As you may have guessed, some 16 year pulled out in front of him and he swerved to avoid hitting him, and totaled the car.
I wanted another Camaro or a Vette. Even a Chevelle or a GTO would have been nice, but nooooooo, we had to buy a stupid Rustang. BB
