I'll show you an aerial photo of the property. The 5 acres in yellow is my house. The property in red is my dad's. The pictures came from the bottom field about halfway down the wood line. I will have a tree stand hung in that area come October!!!

that comment shows your lack of knowing anything. youdon't shoot a deer this early anywhere in the country. the horns are in felt cause they are still growing.

I know of a bow hunter died in Eastern Oregon. He arrowed a real nice mule deer buck. Temps in the 80s. Died from Yellow Jacket stings, while gutting and cleaning his animal. He had over 300 stings on him, when found.

WOW!

That truly just outlined your stupidy when it comes to deer hunting. You field dress a deer in the woods, you take it to a processer after it's field dressed.

I have gone hunting with my wife's uncle twice. Missed a deer both times probably since I had never fired a rifle before. My wife's uncle shot a button buck (mistaken for a doe) the second trip. I helped him process the deer back at the cabin. It was a very interesting experience but wasn't too difficult. I will go back with him if he asks me again but I do not foresee myself running out and purchasing a new rifle and lots of hunting gear. I have some warm camo coveralls and rubber boots for now. I figured this is all I need for going once every two years. I would much rather spend my money on fishing gear.

listen fishinngolfn....you don't have to buy alot of camo or things. that is IF you are in a stand with a blind, or in a "cabin stand". we have 3 cabin stand on paw-in-laws land 40 acres, and 2 on nephews (joining paw-in-law). i go out there in jeans and the deer never see me. i got a heater and all out there, lmao. i hunt "caddilac style", hahahaha. don't wear no doe sent or anything. it is all about knowing where the deer are and feeding them, lmao. make them come to you. if you feed them they will come, hahahaha.

You think he's going to share any one of those three with me????? I don't think so!

I've never bow hunted. I was taught to shoot a long bow by a retired US Olympic coach though. Used to hit 8-10's at 18 yards/meters (so long ago I can't remember).
