Default What is this Railing for?

good day all,

There is a "railing" on the left side of the interior of my bass boat that I don't know what it's for...... it has a lip in in like something should slide into it, but not sure what?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance, let me know if you have any questions...

lol.... but it doesn't have a "handle" but a grove... that looks like something should "slide" into it.

Rod holder rail..

I will try to find the the rod holders that snap into it..

Here is the website.

http://www.ecpdb.com/rollcontrol.htm#Rod%20Holders

Had one on my Terry back in the 70's

Used it hold an umbrella and cat fish rod holder.

I see them on dive boats alot.

Yup, that's what I thought it was (some sort of area for appliances, i.e. rod holers)
