i found a lake by my house today, i fished all morning and afternoon. i used everything i have and got nothing. jigs, buzzbaits, many different top waters, frogs, and even fake worms, still caught nothing. i plan on going back tonight, the lake is almost clear and not much vegiotation. any thoughts on what might work late in the afternoon?

Are you sure it has bass in it? If so, in the lower light hours try using a black jitterbug, using a stop and go retrieve, with very long pauses. Patience is a virtue.

i went back and the sun was behind the trees on one side of the lake. so i threw a sizmic toad into the sunny water and pulled it back into the shade. i got a ton of bites and brought in 2 largemouth, about a pound each, not too big but it was somthing.
