I used them once when i went fishing with my uncle on somelake in Pennsalvania. Cant remember the name. But almost every time something bit at my line i would bring in a fish. The only this is the little fish like sunnys and bluegill. The y bite at the real worms like crazy and because that one hook is farther out then the others they usually get the worm easier.

Never saw an advantage over regular hooks. Want a good treble, get the Daiichi Death Trap trebles. Super sharp, super strong. PM me for more info.

I have a Rapala flat side crank that has those hooks standard on it. I caught 7-8 fish on it the other day and never lost one but that's all the experience I have with them.

Those sure set hooks were designed by david fritts, one of the best crankbait fisherman on the pro tour....i have to respect his design on these but I have used them on the dt16 crank and have noticed no major advantage.....no major disadvantage either....you want some awesome hooks, though.....go with the mustad triple grips....best hook on the market

those excalibur hooks on rogues are sticky sharp, but I tend to replace most of my bread n butter trebs with gammys, owners, excalibur, and
Daiichi and btw, 80 cents for a good treble hook isnt costly at all IMO....mighty cheap insurance if you ask me!

I usually get a 4 pack of owner trebs for about 3.60 or so, its well worth it.
