Tremor

3.6 earthquake hit the DC area this morning. I was in Germantown, the center of the quake, all day yesterday working and will be there today as well. I spent the night in Loudoun Co VA, just across the river, and didn't feel a thing. I guess I missed it......

Smitty...have you ever been through an earthquake or little tremor?

They are kind of neat, but I have to be honest, the day I bought my house, they ceased to be as fun. We had about 25 little ones in a week period a couple of years ago (probably hints of the mega New Madrid quake we are all expecting within the next 20 years). Working on the 8th floor of a high-rise makes it a bit worrisome too.

I felt the one that hit VA in 2004. That was just a weird sensation that caused me to stop for a second or so. Didn't know what it was. No shaking or rattling or anything like people described with this one. Most said this one sounded like a low flying airplane or felt like something hitting the house.

No politicians were hurt.......
