Default Sat. Fishing

I am going to camp at my lake this saturday, and I am going to be fishing a little creek. I am guesing that there are alot of Bass in the area, its weeded, its about 4 feet deep at MAX, shady and looks like a perfect spot. What should I use in order to catch some of those BASS?

KIT

PS: I am fishing There in the morning and also at night.

I always start out with plastic worms. But if that doesnt work then start with something else. I usually try something about ten tries and if i dont get anything then i switch to a different worm. Try everything. Just wondering though, How high are those weeds?

I am not really sure, but I'am guessing about 2 1/2 feet or more, It's a small creek.

For the ones above i would try a popper and throw it in the deepest part of the weeds but be careful you dont want to get a snag. You could even try it ove top of the ones that are underneath. Also Texas rig some worms throw them in the weeds. Let them sink the bottom and then slowly reel in. If that doesnt work then try some spinnerbaits. A white one if you have it otherwise light colored or at least thats what i would try. Im not promising anything though. But when one thing isnt working then try something different.

Steve,

Senkos are always a good choice. I also like to use a shallow diving crankbait, and a chatterbait has been working very well for me too. As for colors, try to match the hatch. Hope this helps, and Good Luck !!!

YOU should use what you think will catch those fish. If you don't think it will it won't!

If there are big bass around there that jump, theres lots of weeds, and theres a good chance of getting snagged, go with topwaters like frogs and mice. BPS has a nice pack of 6 for 13$.

you should start out with whatever lure the situation calls for...limiting yourself to one lure is limiting your chance of catching fish...use whatever you think would work in the situation...like if fish are surfacing, use topwater lures...as for color, just try to match the hatch...
