It's not the cold, It's the Humidity
Got out fishing today. Freak warm spell, got up to 48 today. But no real wind so it wasn't bad. Started with drop shot, nothing. Finesse jig, nothing. Now the humidity was kind of making things uncomfortable cause it was like 4 oclock and dropping sun. I'm ready to call it quits but....don't.
Throw on 3/8 oz. Rattlin Rapala (bluegill) figuired I'd throw it a mile and semi-yo-yo it back to shore. 10 casts, nothing. Figure one more cast and home I go. Three feet from pier, Bam... good strike fair battle (3feet), 17incher. Now I'm happy but can't leave on first strike all day regardless of result. Anyway fished another 20 mjn. and ended up with another 14 incher and 15 incher. Not a bad couple of hours. Oh I forgot......they weren't bass. Ya, 3 Rainbows. Pond gets stocked yearly with like a 1000 "8 in." Rainbows (minimum size limit), some obviously survive to grow. Anyway just thought I'd share |
