We talk alot about Humminbird and the revolutionary Side Imaging Sonar but not everyone can afford or wants to spend that amount of money on their fishing electronics. For many years Humminbird has offered a 2D Sonar product that allows you to increase your coverage area to 2X the depth and get the benefit of knowing which side the Sonar Data is from...It the QuadraBeam Transducer Optional for many of Humminbird's Models.

You can see the tree in both images but with QuadraBeam you can tell which side of the transducer the tree was on.
