Default Using scents with jerkbaits???

I was wondering if anyone has tried using scents on their jerkbaits in the spring? With the longer pauses and closer inspection this technique lends itself .... I have been wondering about how effective scents might be in helping to trigger the strike....

Also wonder the effects the colder water may have on the scent dispersion... positive or negative... ???

Never know...it could work good!

I've never been someone that was in to adding scent to baits, but I also know that it can work. I'd say give it a try!

I've put MegaStrike on them before. I'm not sure if it helped but it didn't hurt. Other than the fact that the lure was slimy in my box later.

It messes up the lures bigtime. Trying to get smelly jelly off a pointer is a pain. Plus, the scents can eat away at the finish too.
