Default ProGator

My friend just got his first bass boat and its a 18 foot Progator. i wondered if you guys have ever had one. Progator is a smaller company based out of Lousiana or something. Its a 1999 thats been in the water like 3 times. So do you guys have any opinions. All i heard is that they are really tough. i went on their website and they fill their hulls with some sort of foam or something and its has a 10 years stump gurantee. Any comments will be great.
Also what are some basic things he needs that we wont think about. He has all the fishing lures, rods, and line, but what about boat upkeep and other things that will be helpful.

TM, anchor, lights, life vests, warning device, bilge pump, livewell(depending if you keep them), dock line. Is it rivetted or welded? Check for loose rivets and JB weld them, aluminum boats are easy for upkeep. Is it aluminum? Make sure the 10 year warranty transfers.

10 year warranty has or is getting ready to expire.
