Default So I went Nite bassin lastnight...

Cought a few all around two lbs. (good fish for the lake I fish) Cought them all on my fav Norman little Deep N and then I cast a few inches from shore and WHAM!! Huge bass annilates it! Im fighting him for a bit hes rippin drag and takes me deep on the other side of a rock point and dive just destroying my line on the rocks needless to say my fav old beat up crank is stuck in that pigs mouth.... I need some time to bask in my sadness this morning. That was the biggest fish I have ever had on in that lake..

Was it a 3,4,6,8,12 pounder? I feel your pain. I needed the same support when I lost my smallie. Cheer up

Lost one at the boat Friday and my friend lost a big one at the boat today - I feel your pain - throw in the lost crank and it sounds like you need a few cold ones to drown the pain

Never go fishing with only one crank of any kind, always, always buy 2 or 3 at a time like I do, rotflmao.

went fishing today, drop shotting, what a technique. caught alot of smallies and at least two fish i tried to bring to the surface, but no doing. the rod bent into and the hook came out. not once, but twice that happened. i can only think it was a big smallie, or carp or catfish. wanna think it was s/m. try utube, search drop shotting for bass. it works.

Haha, anyone else wondering where that reply came from? Unless I'm missing something said prevously in the thread [which I overlooked] than I can only guess Scrap hadnt meant to reply on this thread? Who knows, the whole youtube part has me baffled.

Like Lizards said, don't just buy one crank. You gotta get two or three at a time, never know when you're gonna lose one or the store runs out of stock.

For example, my Uncle swears, I mean swears by Original Floating Rapalas. I saw his T-Box. In it he had three orange and three blue orig. floaters...

BUY SMART, DON'T RUN OUT!!!!!!

Yeah unless you have a few beautiful custom made cranks that you are almost too scarred to throw, and they are a bit too expensive to buy doubles... Then you just hope you dont lose one, and if you do, well in the water you go.

I had two in each size, I let my friend use one early in the night he lost it (beginner) .. The one I was using I had for a while it was really beat up with barley any pain on it but it killed fish.. I ordered more from BPS they should be here soon but no shop seams to carry the color around here..

I never buy just one-I always get at least 2. When I catch one on a bait I take a sharpie and put a black dot on the lip so I know it catches fish.
