Have to brag on my nephew.
I fished a tournament on the upper Chesapeake Bay on Saturday with my nephew (and Godson, his father passed several years ago) Andrew. He absolutely loves the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He had the best fishing day of his life on Saturday, catching the biggest largemouth AND the biggest smallmouth of his life on the same day, actually within an hour of each other. He beat the pants off me that day, I could not land a decent fish all day. His total was just over 17 pounds and we managed 5th place. It was a fantastic few days for me also, getting to spend time with him on the water while pre-fishing and tournament day.
 2 fish for just over 10 pounds. |
