Question upstate ny fishing?

Does anyone know of any good fishing spots open to public around Rochester or upstate ny area? Im staying at my cousins in a town called perry near mt morris and rochester and i wanted to go fishing. any help is appreciated, thanks

Conesus lake is near there, but you will need a boat to get good results. It has good numbers of Smallmouth, Largemouth, Walleye, Musky. I hope this helps. Also Marty may be helpful, he is from Rochester.Its quite easy to get to Conesus from Mt. Morris. P N J

thanks alot, i appreciate the help. im leaving tomorrow to go back home to jersey but im gonna check that lake out when i come back up. im planning on moving up here sometime in the future. i found another pond that a friend of my cousins family owned and finally got some good results. couple 2 lbers and a bunch of others.
