Arrow Dam fishing.

hi again,

since I'm kind of new to lake fishing (I've fished a large stream/creek before i moved), I haven't a clue of how to catch the big bass at the dam of the 50 acre lake...

...I reckon that the larger fish would hang closer to the deepest water, am I right? Anyone got any tips on dam fishing for Largemouths?

PS: the dam is really just a large, long rip-rap deposit covered with some soil at the end of the lake.

please reply and thank you,

seaphantom

I like to fish finesse worms, jigs, and maybe some cranks on the dam.

Tubes should work on the rip rap....I'd start with natural colors and using as little weight as possible.

I'd hit the rip rap and make sure you kind of parallel the bank, with tubes, buzzbaits, crankbaits and esp the spinnerbait
