Food for thought
Don't you think they were trying to promote their poster boy, when they brought the Bass tournaments back North to Oneida lake & lake Champlain ? Ike has alot of experience on these 2 lakes since his Pre BASS days were spent fishing the Northern Division.Lizards,Your freind, Art won the Oneida lake federation tournament here 2 years ago. Is he going to scrap up the fee to fish there this year ?The last BASS tournament around here was in 1988 on Seneca lake . Paul Elias won it back then. They should have done more research, Seneca is 600+ feet deep, and can get real rough to fish when we get alot of wind here. The waves were so bad the day they fished, it ripped the trolling motor brackets off some of the boats in the tournament. Love the idea of the so called pros having to fish in the north part of the country. As some of you know I have fished in several places and lived in a few and have always said"Send the tour up here and we will see what they REALLY know bout bassin" I gurantee that ALOT of them will fall on there a@@es. They have had it to easy the past sevreal years fishing the warmer bigger waters mainly in the south.

Pittsburgh somewhat proved how the pro's could do. Rick Clunn got skunked. Even though there was no size to them almost everyone caught a few 2 pounders.

Good Point bassinBob. Now I wanna see them get onto say The Pack or Hopatcong just to name a couple. Dont have to be a classic but a bunch of them go up there for say a fun tourney or for a promo or whatever. I gurantee the average fisherman that relocates to the north country has to spend sevreal hrs on the water before (if they ever) they become proficcient on the northern lakes. There tough as hell to fish due to the size, the amount of pressure, and I gotta say those damn yankee bass just got a attitude. Can I say that. LOL
