Happy Friday the 13th!

Well, todays my favorite day of the year. Last Friday the 13th, my dad caught his first ever tarpon, and overall was one of the best saltwater days we have ever had. Year before that, I caught my old PB.

nothing wrong with today at all, except I've got to work outside. Have a list of stuff to do "before it rains" which it was when I woke up so, oh well. I'll go work outside in the mud

Then I'm going fishing. With Nanners!! (13 of them.)

Its my father's birthday today. We leave for Florida tomorrow. Hopefully the bad karma associated with this date will pass our trip over. I think all the chickens I'm gonna slaughter tonight should help.

The spook is staying in tuscaloosa, i'm gonna have to take the powerhead off to change the darn grommet at the base of the block - and replace whatever else i feel like replacing. But thats too much work to worry about now, so we are taking my father's boat. He has enough sense and money to buy a new outboard every few years. I lack one or the other, cant tell for sure which.

Yep the 13th has been good to me twice!

October '06 we got our first Swordfish at 72lb.

April 13-14th, 2007 we got some 50+ pound yellow-fin Tunas

Friday the 13th is not an good day for me four years ago a man ran an stop sign and hit the car I was riding in. I had wipp lash for weeks. So this friday it started stormin I knew that wasnt good ten min later wife calls she got rearended at an stop light. The guy had no auto insurance . I just thank god that our kids were not in the car.
