Zook, I feel your pain. I hate when my pictures don't come out. Even worse, I hate when my fishing buddy doesn't do a good job of taking pictures of my fish. I swear, I have a million pictures of my buddys' with fish but the pictures of me always include chopped heads and cruddy shots. For instance, rather than take a picture of the upper half of my body with the fish, I will get back a shot of "heads to feet" with my boxers sticking out and half the fish is outside the picture. I am getting on a tanget . . . sorry . . . but I know how you feel

Sounds like you needed a new pole, or mounting pedastal anyways. If I'm not mistaken you asked about trying to remove a seat over a year ago, am I correct? And is this the same seat? Sorry for the unexpected exspense, but as you already no, it's just a hole in the water for your money to be put in. LOL.

it took a 15" pipe wrench to get the pole out..i took the base to pop's shop. the welds on this thing are junk ground them all off. fired up the mig welder pop -81- came out and put a weld on it..i could have welded it but pop's welds are works of art. he gets the weld to flow like water-mine look like lava-thats the differance between welding for 60 years and some one who can just weld..
