Default I caught some delicious dinner today! (pics)

Nice catch. Crappie are great w/ flour,salt,pepper,garlic salt, lightly fried w/ olive oil.

I actually prefer the taste of bass to crappie...but nothing on this earth beats jack salmon (sauger).

why do you call sauger jack salmon they are a member of the walleye family

and were those white or black crappie

we just got some on the weekend but not as many as you

Its a local name. I guess maybe cause they make a run during the winter upstream, like salmon.

Sauger belongs to the perch family as does walleye.WTL, I don't know but I am thinking she would be great with an additional 195 lbs on her.Thats how much I weigh. -P N J

I caught a 15in crappie on a silver suspending jerkbait last weekend. I often catch bigguns on silver RatLtraps also when I'm bass fishing.

I know what family sauger belong to, heck they look just like walleye. Thats just the local name.

BTW, Bass Ackwards...nice avatar from a truly great piece of american cinema.
