so can anyone tell me when spawning starts and stops?
i know it's not an exact day or anything but is there a pretty strict time frame they stick to or does it vary quite a bit? also, what kind of baits does everyone like to go with during the spawning season? as always, thanks for any help you have to offer. ![]() |

Welcome to the forum and good question. Most of the time weather and temature permitting the bass will spawn on the full moon in march generally speaking and isnt exact to the day. Spawning temps are getting real good at 65 and again not exact but generally. They will spawn in a little cooler and somewhat warmer. Just about any bait that you can use in shallow water around the beds will entice a bass to bite. One thing that alot of people forget. Not all bass bed up and spawn at the same time as others and there are also some deep spawners as well.
