Default Is this normal...

I wanted to post on a thread I started and it said it was closed, right when the conversation of the topic was getting going. I have posted before and have had backlash from a community I now love interacting with and no closing of the thread. I just want to know why this thread was stopped when it seemed to be going places.

Id say maybe , just maybe your topics are sometimes a bit racey ? I once posted something 3 times about a company ( good remarks ) and every time they dissappeared. I dont get it , granted they werent paying sponcers , but then again , I am allowed to have thoughts weather good or bad about any company right ? Freedom of bait monkey speech ??

Threads get closed so people stop crying about dead horse topics. The end.

I assume because of what WTL said above, plus MississippiBoy pretty much said all that needed to be said in the last post on that thread.

Every thread about fishing is a dead horse topic. Every topic about fishing has been talked about , retalked about , and contradicted at least a thousand times...look at all the online material , all the forums and all the magazines....seriously. Example , this months bassmaster Uncle Homer says you can oil a reel with WD40 , you guys say you cant ( contradiction ) Kevin even posted a story of some sort about a contradiction he found , he!! I find em all the time.

whats nice about the forum is that new ideas, lures, techniques are brought out in the open, many items we use now weren't even invented back then, even though we do rehash certain topics.

If you want your thread to live forever, it must contain one of these three items.

3) Drop-shot baits.
2) Rod/reel or line type selection

And of course, the number one never die thread.....WaterDawgs....

I can have a waterdog shipment out overnight. I saw the bumper crop of waterdogs as a business opportunity and acquired a few thousand.

I recently invested heavily in waterdogs on the NYSE, I expect the price of which to escalate to near $200 a barral soon. Some say we may be experiencing a waterdog bubble and there is some talk that Geithner may become invovled, but I have it on the strictest confidence that his pockets are being lined by the pro-waterdog lobby.

Edit; What a waste of posting space. I seriously cant even believe I wrote that^^^, but I'll leave it up..

BUMP

-NYSE- WATERDOGS(WETD) stock values have recently soared past that of the once stockmarket giant SHAMWOW. WallStreet analysts attribute SHAMWOW's downward spiral to the recent "BAD" publicity from their company spokesperson THE SHAMWOW GUY. More news to follow.

Bigbassin144 is right as far as the post, the reality is this is my first forum I have been on and was worried it was something I did to close the post, since I started the post.
