Default Y-Wedge Transom Saver?

I just ordered one of these today http://www.m-ywedge.com/ does anyone use one, the reviews that I found online were all positive and I needed to do something new for this spring.

That's a nifty transom saver.

IMO... an innovative (and long overdue) idea.
However- if you have the 3 ram trim system (most all of you do).... you'll want TWO (2) wedges, one for each side.

This will "evenly distribute" the support, preventing damage to the upper pin bushings for the center tilt ram.

Did see one fellow using "only one"... he lost a bushing almost immediately (it was literally GONE).

Keep in mind... these don't actually take any "weight" off the transom... they simply prevent excessive engine "bouncing" (which is benefitial).

I have one, probably should get another as Zooker mentioned. I like it a lot and it saves a ton of space, just take it off and throw it in the boat. I've even heard of some dealers that use these when they sell a new Ranger as standard equipment.
