the bass could be still spawning in your area, and won't hit much, and if you do get a hit, its probably going to be a small male. Just hang in there, you are going through the same scenerio that we all did in the northeast a few weeks ago..just let the water warm up and you'll be getting bit once the spawn is over. If you think the spawn is over in your neck of the woods, then back off the bank and try a senko weightless and see if they want plastics that day.

I would try usin finesse lures small little baits sometimes get the fish to hit especially when fished slowely. try using a finesse worm on a light line fish it like a snake where you can barely see it or even just out of sight always works for me. In clear water I use a green or a brownish-orange and black swirl. In stained water I use a white or yellow. Good luck.

I fished two small ponds sunday and had similiar results. On the first one I saw beds with one being used by a male and a female. They wouldn't even move the bait off the bed. Didn't catch anything there. The second one gave up some dinks on horny toads and a spinnerbait. Maybe as JB siad they are busy making little baby bass.
