I went fishing on Sunday and i used spinnerbait, crankbaite(Topwater popper),grub, warm.non of them worked. Although the weather was kind of cold and rainy however basses were all so active and they had come to the shallow.I could easily see how they wiggled in the water. It was incredible they did not bit my hook.
What do you think?? |

I reccomend Big Rideau Lake if its not to far for you, It is rated as one of the top bass fishing lakes/rivers in Canada. I caught a 6#'r and a 5 1/2#'r there a few years back(worked for the MNR, got paid to fish all day everyday). Just work around the weed beds with tubes, spinnerbaits, crankbaits etc.. or throw out a frog and twitch it through them(weeds). Worked great for me!!

Yes, you need a boat to get to the best spots. The route I took to get there was through the little town of Westport. I put the boat in at a little conservation area there.
