Default Forum Tourney's

How often do you think we'll have these tourney's? They don't always hafta have prizes, but we could just do them every once in awhile for fun, say like the last week or weekend of every month. Just a suggestion.

That sounds better Denny. You're right, we might get tired of them if we had them every month. I'm thinkin have them October/April/July. Everyone give some suggestions....

But You could have them every month you just dont have to compete and that would help people who cant make it like me so you always have next month. Just have Kevin make a sticky at the top of this or the message bored for weigh ins ONLY and nothing else about the tourney on any other board so that we dont get this site clogged up with a lot of tourney stuff.

Either one works for me. I think we would have better participation if we have them April, July, and September/October.

Heck lets have one in August lol

Ya ever think about having one that duplicated the pros and other divisions?
Have the anglers in the next tourney weigh in, and only those that end up posting weight, get to fish the next round , a 3 hour tourney, to see whos the best of the best, It may show who got lucky the first time, or show whos consistant..just an idea, I have more......lmao

I like the idea JB, start out with 6 hours, then next round 3, then next round 1.5 hours which will be the final. Cut off depends on how many fish it. Example 24 participants, narrow to top 12, then top 6. Top six compete for last day, then see who has most wieght. The following rules still apply-

Official Rules

1. Tournament will commence Sunday July 17th and terminate Saturday July 23rd
2. Eaxh partcipating angler may fish for 6 hours during and of the above dates.
3. All hours fished must be on the same day. (i.e. Cant fish 1 hour a day for 6 days)
4. Size Limit: 14 inches
5. Bag Limit: 5 Black bass
6. ALL FISH MUST BE RELEASED
7. A picture of you five biggest fish must be submitted. The photo must show the bass up against a measuring device for the length and girth.
8. Then the angler MUST use the calculating device that Reb was kind enoguh to find for the purposes of this event.
9. The biggest combined weight wins.
10. No snagging
11. No live bait
12. No netting.
13. Honors system applies to your number of hours fished.
14. Ponds, Lakes, and any moving water is acceptable.
15. Optional, but recommended: Have a little piece of paper on each picture with your username and "BassFishin.Com" written on it.

Here is how to measure

Here is the claculator-

What do you guys think of the 3 round process??

So when should we have the next one? I didn't even compete in this one because i couldn't go to the pond i wanted to fish. I could've fished in my grandad's pond and caught a bunch of 10 inchers but that wouldn't of done me any good.
