Default small lake help

ive been fishing at a local lake 5 times a week now for the past couple of years and it is mostly infested with crappie, bream, and catfish. i have caught a couple of bass but have had no consistent luck. i know there are some huge bass in there because i have seen people pull them out, but i have not had success using anything , if anyone thinks they have a solution to my problem please reply. the water is very murkey , chocolate milk colored and is on average 12-20 feet deep. thanks
