hey i was wondering if yall had any tips on this late summer fishing i live in northeast alabama and have not been fishing in about 2 months if any of yall have any tips it would be usefull thanx.

It is getting to the time of the year when 2 things happen: The fish start schooling, and the shad starts moving back into the creeks-which means the bass do to. Grab a spinnerbait, a rattle trap, and start chunking. I'd also keep a topwater handy, but they may still be in a summer pattern, which means early and late is your best bet.

the reason i aint been fishing is because i have been in texas on vacation and the river i fish is the tennessee river

Is there not any good fishing in Texas. I think a vacation there would demand a little bass fishing time. Edit message to fish (maybe eat) fish (sleep if I have too) Work(cuts into fishing time).
